Over 55’s Chair Yoga
A flow of specific poses adapted through stretch, flexibility, strength and toning practiced on a chair to meet everyone’s needs and abilities. All levels of mobility welcome.
How can you Benefit from Chair Yoga?
By practising Chair yoga, you will build strength, flexibility and increase your range of motion. Whilst aligning your breath to your movements as guided by your teacher, you will improve your focus and bring yourself into the present moment before being guided through meditation in Savasana to clear your mind at the end of every practice. Chair Yoga has proven to help with muscoskeletal conditions such as arthiritis, and help with the recovery from injury or medical problems such as strokes.

Please note, there is a step into the studio and the toilet is at the top of the stairs
With thanks to our collaboration with Personal Growth and Empowerment and funding from Sports England, this class is free for your first 4 weeks of attending and will run at a discounted rate to a standard class for the weeks to follow. There is no advance booking for this class, just turn up to the studio by 10:45am on a Tuesday to attend!.
