Welcome to Retreat

Your new home for yoga and wellbeing

What is Retreat?

Retreat is a yoga and wellbeing studio based in the heart of Bolsover welcoming people from all walks of life. This space has been created to host everyone on their journey to wellbeing and happiness with all-ability yoga and mindfulness classes, personal development courses and other elements of wellbeing to help aid with mental state management in every day life and create a home away from home in whatever shape you need it.

The team at Retreat have years of experience working in the mental health industry as well as their own specialisms (yoga, pilates etc) and have come together at Retreat to hold a space that is understanding of whatever way you need to show up – and we are here to help you leave the studio with you cup filled again.

Yoga at Retreat

The Yoga timetable at Retreat has been set out to welcome all levels of ability and intention to our range of classes across the week. Our ‘Classes’ page helps to break down each yoga class offered so you can find which one works best for you.

Each class holds beautiful space for you to turn up as you are and feel welcomed and supported to enjoy your own personal practice. Retreat is a non-judgemental space that will help you feel your best both physically and mentally.

Wellbeing at Retreat

Here at Retreat, we understand the importance of looking after your wellbeing. Whilst yoga is a big part of that, we wanted to take a more holistic approach when opening this studio to support your day-to-day lifestyle and support you to feel your best in and out of the studio – so every day feels like you’re on a retreat. Wellbeing is encaptured in our wider studio timetable and especially in our course blocks that welcome everybody to learn how to improve their mindfulness, stress management, and healthy lifestyle building skills. If you feel there is something missing at our studio that would help your wellbeing, or you’re not sure where to start, drop us an email at info@retreatwellbeing.co.uk.

Testimonials

I have gone from never having done yoga before to looking forward to my Thursday evening brain detox and deep stretch. I appreciate the time and space I am encouraged to give myself, during yin yoga class, to care for my mind and body. I highly recommend this class to everyone.

I had a great day. I was surprised at how the group developed over the day and it became a safe place for a group of strangers to talk and support each other. I loved all the activities and the time I took to care for me. I did ache afterwards so I clearly needed a good stretch and yoga workout. I would definitely recommend treating yourself to this.

It was fabulous! Ideal for anyone with (or without) mobility issues. A relaxed session, where everyone can work at their own pace, within their own limits and still feel like they've done some meaningful exercise. Felt great afterwards. Looking forward to the next session.
